If you bought Pro or a lifetime package and lost access after switching phones, follow these steps.
- Confirm which store you used
- iOS purchases are handled via Apple ID. Android purchases are handled via Google Play (or another store if applicable).
- Use the in-app "Restore purchase" (if present)
- Open Moments > Settings > Purchases or Account > Tap "Restore purchase" or "Restore".
- Follow the prompts. If your store account is different from the one you used originally, sign into the correct Apple ID / Google account first.
- If restore fails, try the store account flow
- iOS: Open the App Store > your profile (top right) > Purchased and ensure the same Apple ID is signed in.
- Android: Open Play Store > tap your profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions to verify the purchase is listed.
- Manual recovery by support (when automatic restore doesn’t work)
- If automatic restore doesn’t detect your purchase, contact support and provide:
- The email you used with the app (if you signed in),
- Proof of purchase (Apple receipt or Google Play receipt email) — a screenshot or PDF with transaction ID and date is ideal,
- The device model and Moments app version.
- Support can manually activate Pro on your Moments account after verification. Get in touch at support@momentscountdown.app.
Verification
- After a successful restore you should see Pro features unlocked (ability to add more than 3 events, removal of the free limit) and a confirmation in Settings > Purchases.
Edge cases & tips
- If you changed your Apple ID or Google account, the purchase will not show under the new account. Restoring requires the original store account or a support-assisted manual activation. Get in touch at support@momentscountdown.app.
- If you bought Pro via a promo code or directly outside the store, include any confirmation emails in your support message.
